About me

Tim's Bodywork career started as a Sport & Remedial Massage Therapist, training with the highly regarded London School of Sports Massage. He studied Myofascial Release (MFR) with Ruth Duncan of MFR UK. He was one of the first three students to complete the Advanced Clinical Diploma in Integrated MFR – a course he passed with distinction. He's regularly called upon to act as an assistant on MFR UK diploma courses which gives him the opportunity to support and work with new MFR students. In 2017 Tim travelled to Sedona, Arizona, to study with John F Barnes, a PT who originated the Sustained MFR approach that he uses.

His training in energy work started with Meditation, Reiki and Emotional Realignment Therapy (ERT) which he studied with James E Honey, the creator of ERT and its successor: the Honey Healing Method (HHM). Both therapies are revolutionary approaches to permanently clearing emotional blocks and resolving the issues these blockages create in our energy flow.

He is now a Reiki Master and Teacher and one of a small number of HHM and ERT practitioners in the world. He is delighted to be able to offer these therapies to his clients as they are so beneficial for mind and body. He has been teaching (attuning) people to Reiki since 2013 and hold regular classes in Clerkenwell.

Tim has also qualified as a Yoga Teacher (Scaravelli Style) and runs weekly classes in Clerkenwell.

Tim's approach

Tim would love to be able to say that he can cure anyone of their aches and pains, but that would be wrong. What he will say is that he will do his best to help and support you though the healing process, and strongly believes that what he offers will be beneficial to you.

He is committed to providing you with a thorough, professional approach to you and your individual needs, adjusting his treatments to provide you with the best level of care. He will endeavour to keep you informed about the stages of your treatment, but let him know if you want more information. He is merely human and will do his very best to give you the best treatment that he is able to.

If he is unable to help you, or feels that you would benefit from a different modality or therapeutic approach with a different practitioner then he will tell you and offer a suggestion as to a practitioner to see.

Ultimately, he wants you to get better and back on your feet. He will do everything He can to help you with this. He believes that the therapies he offers support and complement conventional medicine, but that the services he gives should never be used as a replacement for a medical diagnosis of a condition.
