Reiki and you

Many of us cannot wait to see blue skies, flowers in the garden and the beautiful sensation of having a relaxed body where you no longer need to wear heavy coats and your skin is dry after months of artificial heat in everywhere.

Our feelings seem a spinning wheel, up and down, great day and bad day, happy and not so happy, angry and euphoric... What can we do to avoid or minimise this and bring more balance and contentment?

This big question comes to our mind and when it comes, we would like to have an instant solution for it. In that moment we seek for someone or something to help, but we forget that this kind of “instant solution” at the moment it is not available.

What really exists is our wish, our intention to find a solution and from my experience, this comes with our movement of changes. These changes ask for a new attitude regarding ourselves and how we look at our well-being and how important it is for us to feel better and progress to be a better person each day.

Complementary therapies can support us in this direction, Reiki is one of them. Reiki is a kind and non-evasive therapy. Reiki energy comes to help us to balance ourselves, physically, emotionally and mentally. It calms our heart, we become more centred, having consciousness about who we really are and what we really need.

In order to give permission for this process to start, we need to treat ourselves with the same kindness as Reiki. When we decide to have a Reiki treatment, we are doing something proactive, thus restoring some of the feelings of control, and connect us once again to the real world.

Science now recognises that Reiki does shift the electromagnetic of our bio-field. A number of experiments continue to show that Reiki is a powerful aid in physical healing. In hospital* and controlled settings, Reiki has been proven to improve sleep, reduce pain, reduce nausea, reduce heart rate and improve relaxation in cancer rehabilitation, and support the body process of healing in acute and chronic illness.
