How we feel is how we experience life . Sometimes we need nurturing supportive treatments for health and wellbeing and if facing challenges, sometimes we need regular reminders to be body aware to help ease aches and pains, sometimes therapy is a way to keep track on health with regular health maintenance treatments . As a Complementary Therapy Manager at two Hospitals providing therapies to ward Cancer patients undergoing active Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy treatment, patients with life-limiting illness and complex challenging specialist needs and palliative patients means I have extensive knowledge and understanding of working with these clients challenges. I have had the privilege to work with many talented and compassionate, Doctors, Nurses and others within the NHS and with some wonderful Patients who I have been honoured to be part of their stories.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The International Federation of Aromatherapists (IFA) is a registered charity founded in 1985. It is a self-governing body which is supported by its members and friends with official Codes of Practice and Ethics, ensuring that high standards are maintained at all times.
The IFA has five different membership options, Full, Associate, Student, Carer and Friend.
CNHC is the UK regulator for complementary healthcare practitioners. Its key function is to enhance public protection by setting standards for registration. Members must abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics and hold current professional indemnity insurance.
The UK Reiki Federation is a professional association with the objective of forming a national umbrella organisation for education, training and guidance in the practice of reiki.
Currently the Reiki Federation requires their members to have signed their code of ethics, hold practitioner insurance and hold certificates appropriate to their membership type.
The Association of Reflexologists (AoR) is a non-profit making association which aims to provide support to professionally qualified practitioners. Membership is open to practitioners who have gained an approved qualification or who have provided proof that their training and practical skills meet the standards set by the AoR.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Based in Burnham on Sea, I am fully qualified and insured in over 6 types of Complementary Therapy and have many years of experience providing therapies to clients across all age groups who seek to manage symptoms , increase their well-being or simply feel better at times when they may feel physically, mentally or emotionally challenged or stressed. My initial free consultation gathers health information and together we agree and tailor treatments to help support you to feel well.
I am an experienced NHS , Hospice and client practitioner working with specific diagnosed health conditions contact me if you would like to chat through treatments for you .Therapies are carried out to support clients to help aid their general health and well being. Individually focused , there is an option to use tailor made essential oils blends for client symptom control in my treatments.
As a formally university qualified teacher, I provide CNHC recognised Accredited Therapy courses, with training and general workshops
