About me

My name is Laura; I’m a holistic, creative therapist based in Droitwich Spa offering Usui Reiki, Angelic Reiki, Counselling (both traditional and creative options available), social art groups, creative therapy workshops, and more.

I’m a fully qualified as both a Usui Reiki practitioner, and an Angelic Reiki practitioner. I'm a Practitioner Member of the UK Reiki Federation (UKRF), and a Registered Member of the Angelic Reiki Association (ARA). I'm also an experienced counsellor of over 10 years experience and a Registered Member (MBACP) of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

Reiki is a gentle, soothing complementary therapy that can be used to help manage a range of mental, emotional and physical issues alongside traditional treatments.

In Usui Reiki, a gentle form of energy healing, the therapist channels ‘universal life-force energy’ (the literal translation of ‘reiki’ from Japanese) to the client. This universal life-force energy flows to wherever it may aid you, and can help you feel more relaxed, energised and generally more ‘well.’

In Angelic Reiki, also a very gentle yet powerful form of energy healing, energy is channelled directly from the Angelic Kingdom of Light. Healing is given wherever it is most needed in that moment, according to your highest, greatest good.

Reiki and angelic healing energy can both help you to feel better (in whatever sense), as well as promote the natural healing abilities of the body by encouraging your body to switch from a threat state (fight or flight), to a relaxed state, where healing can naturally occur. I must stress, though, that reiki is not a 'cure,' and must not be used in place of traditional medicine.

Reiki and angelic healing are a wonderful addition to any self-care routine and it can be a real treat to gift a session of reiki to yourself or someone you love.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a Therapist's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the Therapist to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.

Droitwich: the building is wheelchair accessible, however, it is an old building and some doorways can be a bit tight. My usual therapy room is upstairs, but there is the potential to use a downstairs room if needed, subject to availability.
