About us

Clinic51 is an holistic women’s health and menopause service; founded by doctors, but run in partnership with holistic health experts - enabling women to live healthily and happily through the menopause, and to thrive throughout later life.

Clinic51 was founded by Dr Katie Armstrong and is run by her and a team of likeminded doctors, all of whom have a passion for women’s health and menopausal care. Our beautiful Barn clinic space, in between Petworth & Chichester, is also home to a select group of women’s health practitioners, working alongside Clinic51’s own doctors - who offer therapeutic massage, nutrition, women’s physio, psychotherapy & counselling, and yoga, pilates and exercise courses specifically geared to the needs of midlife women.

Training, qualifications & experience

Our team of doctors all have a special interest in women’s health and the menopause, alongside related specialisms both within and outside the NHS.

The partner practitioners that work with us are all qualified in their respective fields, and most have undertaken further specific training in perimenopause and menopause and/or the specific needs of midlife women.

Further information

At Clinic 51 we offer evidence-based advice and treatment in line with guidance from the British Menopause Society and the UK National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE). The women’s health partners who work with us at the Black Barn, all offer treatments or therapies that are proven to be of benefit to women during the menopause, or during mid- and later life.

While hormones are an important part of the puzzle for midlife women, they are not the only part; we firmly believe that helping women to exercise, sleep, have a healthy mind, and fuel their bodies with good nutrition are all vital as we move through the menopause - and are vital in making sure that we continue to thrive throughout later life.

Our clinic space brings together our doctor-led service curated practitioners, offering women information, guidance and treatment in one beautiful Sussex Barn.
