Akashic records
The Akashic records are a collection of events, thoughts, feelings and experiences from the past, present and future that have been experienced by every individual life form, not solely human. They can be used to source information from your soul creation to help answer questions and support you on your life journey.
Here, holistic therapist and Akashic record healer, Melissa Stonard, explains more about the Akashic records, including how to access them and the benefits they bring.
What are the Akashic records?
The Akashic records are a spiritual database of every experience you have ever had, including your thoughts, feelings, and emotions. They are a collection not only from this lifetime but through all past lives, time and space. It can be thought of as one huge library of memories. Everything has its own Akashic record, even your house and pet.
The concept was coined by Austrian theosophist, Rudolf Steiner, in the early 1900s but the practice has been used throughout time. Documentation has been seen as early as ancient Egypt. Steiner later founded anthroposophy. This is a spiritual philosophy that studies humans, our nature and development. It is the idea that we are spiritual beings living in a physical existence. As such, humans have the ability to contact spiritual worlds. This is where the Akashic records originated.
The word “Akashic” comes from the Sanscrit word, “Akasha” which means ‘sky’ or ‘atmosphere’. This is thought to relate to the non-physical plane of existence called the astral plane.
Akashic reading vs healing
There are Akashic record readers and healers, and some people are a combination of both. An Akashic record reading would enable you to discover various lifetimes that you had lived and to perhaps understand why you might have particular likes, dislikes and phobias. An Akashic reading and healing would enable you to make discoveries and then be able to heal them at the same time. You can also learn to read the Akashic records yourself and no prior psychic experience is necessary. This can be extremely beneficial as there can be many layers to the healing.
Imagine being able to remove all those limiting beliefs, negative emotions and thoughts that you may have, and being able to soar to the highest heights and live the life that your soul originally intended.
Soul contracts in Akashic healing
Also held within the records are details of the ‘soul contracts’ that we have made. Soul contracts refer to the agreements made before birth between you and your sole family and carry over through many lifetimes.
If these promises with another soul are no longer serving your greatest needs, they can be cleared by your Akashic master. This frees you from anything that is stopping you from reaching your highest potential. For example, releasing yourself from previous partners, friends, work colleagues, or anyone else whose energy might be unconsciously still affecting you. This could be preventing both of you from moving forward in your lives.
As clairvoyant, Edgar Cayce stated, “The Akashic records contain the entire history of every soul since the dawn of creation. These records connect each of us to one another”.
What can the Akashic records help with?
Accessing the Akashic records is an exciting and rewarding journey. Reading and healing can help you to discover things about yourself that you have never been able to explain before. For example, a phobia or fear about your neck being touched, or not being able to wear a high-necked jumper, could indicate that you have suffered a lifetime where you may have been hung or strangled.
This traumatic event can be removed from your database of records and healed, allowing you to let go of this memory and fear. Working with the Akashic records is a true gift, and can be used to heal a plethora of issues from mental, emotional and even physical ailments.
What can you expect from Akashic records reading and healing?
Akashic reading and healing is a relaxing session. It affords deep insight into your life – assisting with the releasing of childhood trauma and inner child wounding, past life issues and ancestral wounds. Ancestral wounds are passed down through the DNA and sit within our physical system, until such time that they are healed and removed. This enables us to also assist our ancestors before us and future generations of our family.
How will I feel?
You will typically feel bright and light after a session, often like a weight has been lifted from your shoulders. Your energy frequency will be higher and you will feel energised, whilst at the same time feeling beautifully relaxed and peaceful.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions needed will vary from person to person and will depend on what you are seeking assistance with. Sometimes one session is enough to change the direction of your life. Other times, when an issue has been around for longer, you may need a block of six sessions or less.
How much does it cost?
The cost of sessions will depend upon whether you are simply having Akashic records reading or if that is combined with healing. Typically, sessions range from £80 to £250, and can often last for a couple of hours.
Choosing an Akashic record reader and healer
You can learn to read the Akashic records yourself, and need no prior experience, though an open mind helps. If you’re just starting out, it’s recommended to work with a professional. Akashic record reading and healing is not a regulated therapy, so do your research before you commit.
Use your intuition to choose who you work with, if it feels right in your body and heart, then this is a good indication that the practitioner is a good fit for you. Our bodies always know what is right for us, and if you are able to listen to its guidance, you will never go wrong.
