About me
I’m Thomas, a qualified Usui Reiki practitioner based in Buxton town centre, offering Reiki both in person in Buxton and remotely through distance Reiki, via video call or telephone.
I offer a calm, welcoming space for rest, relaxation and wellbeing. In-person sessions take place in a private therapy space in central Buxton, while distance Reiki allows you to have a session from the comfort of your own home, wherever you are in the UK or internationally.
Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive complementary practice. You remain fully clothed throughout an in-person session, and there is no need to have any previous experience or particular belief in Reiki.

Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified 2nd degree Usui Reiki practitioner and a member of the UK Reiki Federation. I hold professional indemnity and public liability insurance with Balens, specialist insurers for complementary therapists.
My Reiki training began with an in-person Level 1 course in 2018, followed by further training to Reiki Level 2. I continue to develop my knowledge and experience through ongoing personal practice and work with clients.
I also have additional training in complementary and wellbeing practices, including facial treatments and ear acupuncture.
Member organisations
The UK Reiki Federation is a professional association with the objective of forming a national umbrella organisation for education, training and guidance in the practice of reiki.
Currently the Reiki Federation requires their members to have signed their code of ethics, hold practitioner insurance and hold certificates appropriate to their membership type.

Your first 60-minute Reiki session is £30 (usually £55), giving you the opportunity to experience Reiki at a reduced introductory price..
A Course of Six is £305, offering a total saving of £60. The course includes six 60-minute Reiki sessions, plus a complimentary 30-minute integration session on completion.

Further information
I want your Reiki experience to feel comfortable, relaxed and entirely at your own pace. You remain fully clothed throughout your session, and you can choose whether you'd prefer light touch or hands-off Reiki. There is no need to believe in Reiki or have any previous experience.
Sessions are available in the evenings and at weekends, and I can often accommodate short-notice and same-day appointments. Distance Reiki is also available worldwide via WhatsApp, Google Meet, or telephone.
