About me

I'm a registered homeopath with a wealth of experience in a wide range of fields: mental health and wellbeing, addictions. I have a particular interest in issues that affect children, how they learn best and issues that affect them such as bullying.

Homeopathy treats the whole person as individual and unique. In this context the aggravating symptoms the person is experiencing can disappear when homeopathic remedies effectively rebalance the person, their vitality and immune system, healing them to a healthier and happier self-experience.

I first became interested in Homeopathy in 1978 and studied it with a number of homeopaths, well known today for setting up some of the first Homeopathic Colleges in the UK and the Society of Homeopaths.

I then worked for Time Out on an Alternative Health Guide and went on to become a Primary School Teacher, although always practising, studying and treating those in my life with Homeopathy.

I have greatly benefited from using Homeopathy as my primary form of medicine for the last 40yrs.

I have now been registered as a professional Homeopath with the Alliance of Registered Homeopaths since 2012.

I am very approachable and easy to talk to, as well as being easily contactable in between appointments and in emergencies. I'm happy to talk to you about Homeopathy prior to making an appointment.

I'm experienced in both Acute and Constitutional prescribing, and have good observational skills and intuition.

I am keen to encourage my clients to learn about Self Help remedies for acute situations and run classes in Self Help Homeopathy to enable people to treat themselves and their families in acute situations.

Training, qualifications & experience

I first studied Homeopathy in 1978 with well known Homeopaths such as Martin Miles, Robert Davidson, Peter Chappel, Karen Whitney and Micha Norland,

I then continued my studies at The College of Homeopathy and Practical College of Homeopathy.

I have been a professional registered Homeopath with the Alliance of Registered Homeopaths (ARH) since 2012

Since then I worked at Mind in Islington and set up an acute Homeopathic service at the City Farm in Hackney, whilst also building up my home practice.

I currently work as a Homeopath and see clients at my home in Stoke Newington.

TESTIMONIALS

Almona June 2024

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2022 and all sorts of psychological issues were triggered as a result. I sought homeopathy from Suzy to treat me as a whole rather than for any underlying issue.

I have been seeing Suzy since April 2023 and can confidently state that not only do the remedies help but discussions unpeel complex layers of thought process to get to the root of problems.

Suzy is a considerate and thoughtful homeopath and she forms part of my medical dream team - I  am certainly healthier and happier for it.

I was recently given the green light in that my Osteoporosis (which I apparently had prior to diagnosis) and which could have potentially been compounded by the medication I was taking (Tamoxifen) has been reversed in that all my readings are now at non dangerous, normal levels.

I've found Suzy to be a sympathetic and caring homopath.  Suzy connected to my emotional state and was very patient when I was very anxious.  She has explored in depth which homeopathic remedies to prescribe for me.  The remedies have made a difference to my well-being. I highly recommend Suzy.

Kim Alvis June '22

Suzy is a caring, compassionate and knowledgeable practitioner, who always go that extra mile to make sure she prescribes the right remedy for you. Over the past 6 months I have found her to be an invaluable support to me during the postnatal period and with my baby.
I would highly recommend her, she is a thoughtful, caring and patient homeopath. I am very grateful for all my treatments from her this far and have seen many improvements in myself and my baby.

Emma Rawles, August 2019

I am very grateful for the homeopathy Suzy has treated me with.
My symptoms have disappeared ever since and my health has gotten so much better.
It was an incredible experience to receive such a detailed treatment and I felt really safe and trusted in our session.

Thank you SO much Suzy, your homeopathy has changed my every day.

Saliha 33yrs, Breathing teacher  June 2019

I am currently being treated by Suzy Roston for a chronic digestive problem.

I have found Suzy to be attentive, thoughtful, compassionate and resourceful.

My health has steadily improved and the treatment offered continues to be responsive and accurate in adjusting to changes.

Homeopathy can seem opaque. Suzy has been good at explaining, reassuring and supporting me in following the course of treatment.

David Matthews  February 2019

I went to see Suzy because I was suffering from the consequences of coeliac disease which had not been diagnosed for many years. I was suffering from a lot of muscular pain as well as the exhaustion and gut problems that come with coeliac disease. I went to see Suzy over several months and found that over time the symptoms that I had been suffering from for years were disappearing and the general fog I had in my head was also lifting. I found Suzy to be very perceptive about symptoms and knowledgeable about a vast range of homeopathic and other alternative treatments.

I was impressed by Suzy’s commitment to holistic treatments and decided to join a short training course that Suzy offered, which empowered me to understand how Homeopathy works and to be able to offer some first aid treatment to my family.

I also recommended another family member to see Suzy to help with their IBS. I would certainly recommend Suzy as a Homeopath for both chronic and acute symptoms.

Ayesha Usmani  June 2018

I have seen Suzy to help me treat a range of problems, from recurring bladder infections to eczema, anxiety to IBS symptoms. She is very thorough in her analysis of my issues, taking the time to understand the full picture (always including mental, physical and emotional symptoms), which leads her to choosing my remedies very accurately. She also makes suggestions of actions I could take beyond Homeopathic remedies such as dietary changes.

I find it really useful that she provides me with the remedies needed and gives clear instructions as to when and how to take them. She is also very responsive when I phone her with any queries, taking the time to give me advice.

Safaa    September 2018

When I contacted Suzy Roston in 2011, my mother was well into Alzheimer’s [lasted 10 years] and was very unhappy and depressed and cried a lot.

She was also doubly incontinent,  (although we forgot to mention this to Suzy) slept badly and walked around a lot at night.

Suzy asked lots of questions and then prescribed. One tablet a day for three days. Mum didn’t notice/remember the pill at all - so not placebo effect then.

Mum cheered up – great! A success! But then the carers started noticing something and leaving notes about it. Mum was no longer incontinent at all and it stayed that way for at least a year. We didn’t ask Suzy for any more pills after that as mum stayed much happier until she died in 2014.
