About me

Hi, I'm Rachel - Sound, Somatic and Reiki Practitioner.  My passion is to help women get out of their busy minds, connect with their bodies & release emotions so they can finally achieve inner peace.

My clients come to me because their lives feel unmanageable and they are struggling to find relief from overwhelm and anxiety. They may appear 'high-functioning' on the outside but underneath it feel like they're falling apart. They may also find themselves in cycles of unhealthy coping mechanisms to ease their discomfort which ultimately leaves them feeling worse about themselves.

One thing they all have in common is that they are desperate for inner peace and to be free from past emotional pain/triggers so that they can step into the deeply fulfilling life they deserve.

Many have a good level of self-awareness - maybe they've had some talk therapy in the past however still feel the weight of unresolved issues hanging over them and want to explore deeper with a body-based therapeutic approach.

Training, qualifications & experience

My expertise lies in a range of Holistic Somatic (body-based) modalities:

Somatic Coaching, Sound Healing (Voice & Sound Bowls), Movement,  Breathwork & Reiki.

All supporting my clients to connect more deeply to their bodies and any  trapped emotions at a core level - as this is often what is keeping them stuck in patterns of anxiety and overwhelm.

I am also a qualified counsellor, having studied with the Australian Institute of Professional Counselling as well as the British Academy of Sound Therapy and Aura Institute of Integrative Trauma.
