About me
I have a range of natural treatments that are offered to help you manage symptoms and long-term health issues. An assessment of your health is conducted and a scientific, evidence based and natural approach is taken when trying to identify the root cause of your health issues. After which the use of Naturopathic/Functional Medicine is applied to formulate an effective treatment plan.
The treatment plan will be very specific to support you as an individual and address your Nutritional, Physical and Emotional health in order to bring you back into balance and functioning at your optimum again.
Treatment plans can include diet and clinical nutrition, detoxification, supplementation, massage (Women only), reiki, lymphatic drainage, hydrotherapy, aromatherapy, herbal medicine, homeopathy, blood tests, talking therapy. A therapeutic counselling service is also available for individuals who feel they need a deeper level of mental and emotional support.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have studied and completed a Naturopathic Medicine science degree at the University of Westminster London gaining a thorough understanding of anatomy, physiology, hormones and chronic diseases. I have also completed a Masters degree in psychology at Brunel University London.
I have been involved in the health industry for over 20 years and was the proprietor of a health and wellbeing business, which supplied customers with organic whole-foods, herbal and homeopathic remedies and natural skincare and therapies.
I was also employed as an Holistic General Health Practitioner at the Light Center in Moorgate and Belgravia London which offers a health and wellbeing service. I supported patients with yearly health screenings, advising them on their current health status and identifying any physical, biochemical and emotional imbalances and deterioration. I also offered and continues to offer within my private practice consultations to individuals suffering with chronic illnesses and womens’ health issues with the use of complementary and naturopathic medicine.
I also work for the NHS as a practicing Phlebotomist supporting my local GP's and their patients with their blood tests. I incorporate more extensive blood tests within my own practice when requested to support the devised treatment plans for my clients.
