Hello all.
My name is Luna Marques, I am from Portugal and I am a qualified Naturopath/Herbalist and Massage therapist living in Dorking.
I moved to the UK in 2017, since then, I have worked as a Holistic therapist on a self-employment basis in the UK.
At the moment, I am open to give Herbalism and Astrology (for psychological/emotional healing purposes) consultations.
However, I can also offer Herbalism or Naturopathy consultations without Astrology.
Herbal and Astrology consultations
My consultations will be based on Herbal therapy and Psychological astrology.
During the appointment I will ask questions related to the person’s physical condition, emotional condition, lifestyle habits, diet, routines, familiar and medical history. After, I will evaluate the medical exams of the patient (if available and necessary).
Finally, I will recommend herbs, nutritional recommendations and supplements that could support the patient's health.
Considering that Naturopathy aims to support the body's self-healing abilities in a holistic way, I am also adding astrology in certain situations for psychologic/emotional purposes. I will integrate Astrology into my consultations when patients need a more holistic approach that will consider their emotional needs. For example, when patient's need support with stress, anxiety, social anxiety, depression or other psychological symptoms.
(Please bear in mind that astrology will only be used for therapeutic psychologic/self awareness purposes considering the works of Carl Jung and the Archetypes).
What is Naturopathy?
Naturopathy is a Holistic Therapy, which means that the Naturopath will take into consideration the lifestyle, the diet and the emotional state of the patient in order to give a proper advice.
Naturopathy is beneficial in conditions related to high stress levels, weight management issues, chronic diseases, depression, sleep disorders, neurological conditions, among many others.
The patient may need a regular follow up, and in most cases the follow up is essential for the success of the treatment.
- Naturopathy works perfectly well together with other medical treatments.
- If necessary I am also open to add Massage/Deep Tissue or Sports Massage to my treatments.

- The initial consultation price is 50 pounds. If adding massage therapy to the appointment a fee will be added according to the therapy room rental costs.

Member organisations
The key aim of the General Naturopathic Council (GNC) is to regulate and support practitioners in order to ensure the safety and well being of the public.
The GNC has two different kinds of membership - Registered Naturopaths and Associate Naturopaths.
The Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (ANP) aims to enlighten the public upon naturopathic practice, occupation and treatment.
In order to register as a member, practitioners must provide proof of relevant qualifications and experience as well as agreeing to abide by the associations code of ethics and additionally must hold full indemnity insurance.
