I teach a variety of yoga classes for groups and individuals in the tradition of the Bihar School of Yoga. My weekly classes include beginners, mixed ability, intermediate, advanced and Yoga for Men.
I run courses and workshops on Ayurveda and Yoga including 'Transforming Menopause with Ayurveda and Yoga', ' Living Ayurveda and Yoga' and 'Ayurveda in Daily Life'.
I am a member of the ‘Ayurvedic Practitioners Association’ and the ‘British Wheel of Yoga’.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a Masters in Ayurvedic Medicine from Middlesex University, London, which incorporated 1000 clinical hours via the University clinic and internships in Indian Ayurvedic Hospitals.
I initially trained with the British Wheel of Yoga in 1993 before training with the Bihar School of Yoga. This tradition aims to harmonise all aspects of human experience through a meditative approach that develops the spiritual aspects of Yoga through building on ancient techniques and deepening and enhancing basic practices. It is accessible to students of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners.
