About me

Julia Bletcher (BacktoHealth Acupuncture) is a fully qualified, licensed and insured acupuncturist working in Cranleigh, with special interest in anxiety, depression and related issues. Call to book an appointment on 07872 330502.

Coming from a science background I was initially sceptical about the benefits of acupuncture. However after witnessing the improvements acupuncture gave my daughter I was intrigued to find out more. I was so impressed that I decided to completely change my career and embark on BSc (Hons) degree course to study Chinese Medicine and gain the acupuncture skills necessary to treat others. I’ve found that as well as enabling me to help others, applying the principles of Chinese Medicine to my own life has greatly enhanced my own health and well-being. I am known for my calm manner and taking the time to fully understand and treat my patient’s needs.

I am a fully qualified acupuncturist and licenced member of the Acupuncture Society. I trained for 3 years at the International College of Oriental Medicine (ICOM) studying the 5 Element System of acupuncture and Stems and Branches in combination with the more commonly known Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) method. This comprehensive approach along with an ITEC diploma in massage has provided me with the expertise to treat a wide spectrum of symptoms and conditions. I have studied facial rejuvenation acupuncture and recently, in 2014 I completed a further study course in acupuncture at Shanghai TCM University, and had a research paper published on Acupuncture for Depression.
