Since I can remember I wanted to be a massage therapist. After graduation from Physiotherapy in my home country Poland and following training with Meridian School of Massage and Bodywork where I got certificate of Holistic and Therapeutic Massage Therapy level 4 I have started to realise my dreams. The ability of touch therapy is priceless gift that I want to share with people.
I have worked for 6 years in rehabilitation centres and had the pleasure of working with people of all ages with various conditions. The rush of life, incorrect posture, bad habits, stress, sitting job, lack of sleep is a real problem most of us in the world today. All this has an impact on our body. Mental health is closely linked to the physical condition and vice versa, so you should take care of both.
Holistic massage which I provide is the chance for people who have a modern day which involves lots of sitting at computers and other conditions of everyday life of the musculoskeletal system. It contains some deep work with Trigger Points therapy, which help release the tension in the muscles.
In my work I combine knowledge and skills acquired during education in Poland and in the UK. Before first massage a free consultation about health, stress level and lifestyle is carried out. I approach each client individually and massage is tailored to his needs.
Regular massage is helping to remove the muscles tension, increase mobility of the joints, helping to reduce stress level, improve circulation, remove toxins from the body or reduce muscle pain.
This year in May, I started learning a new therapeutic technique called Emmett Technique. I am impressed how so simple method can change someone's life. It is a technique involving the gentle touching of two points on the human body in a different configuration. Unlocking these points can relax muscle tensions, improve joint mobility, breathing quality. Practicing this method on myself, I can say with full responsibility that it is a magic - however it sounds. For 10 years of practice and contact with different types of massages, this method makes me excited , admiration for the person who invented it - Ross Emmett. I give my respects to this man. Emmett technique helps: limited trunk rotation, lower back pain, sciatic pain, glut pain, pelvic pain, irregular bowels, burning feet, heel pain, breathing restriction, tight lower legs, swollen ankles, fluid retention, cramps in calfs, poor foot balance , shoulders, tight shoulders and neck, restricted neck rotation, pain in the biceps, frozen shoulder, frozen shoulder, lateral knee pain, stiffness in the upper leg, difficulty squatting, swelling above the knee, distress, anxiety, breathlessness, elbow, forearm, wrist issues, poor balance.
After each massage, I give advice \ how to care for the body posture, muscles, what stretching to do to prevent muscle pain.
