Drp Acupuncture was founded by Dongrim Park, a fully qualified acupuncturist and member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC).
Grounded in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Five Element principles, the practice supports health and wellbeing through a holistic and individualised approach.
Each treatment is delivered with care and precision, focusing on underlying patterns rather than symptoms alone. Treatments are thoughtfully tailored to support the body’s innate capacity to restore and maintain balance, with the understanding that meaningful change develops through consistent, attentive care over time.
Dongrim Park has a particular interest in women’s health and gynaecology, supporting concerns such as hormonal imbalance, stress, pain, and fertility.
In addition to acupuncture, the practice offers tuning fork therapy, a gentle vibrational treatment that may support relaxation, help regulate the nervous system, and complement acupuncture within a holistic treatment plan.
Facial Enhancement Acupuncture is also available, offering a natural and holistic approach to skin health. This treatment supports circulation, muscle tone, and overall vitality, while addressing underlying imbalances that may contribute to signs of ageing.
Training, qualifications & experience
Dongrim Park is a fully qualified acupuncturist who graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Acupuncture from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine (CICM). Dongrim also practises within the CICM practitioner clinic, maintaining close links with both academic study and clinical training.
She also completed specialist training with Paul Adkins, founder of Cosmetic Acupuncture UK.
Member organisations
As the UKs largest professional body of acupuncturists the BAcC guarantee excellence in training, safe practice and professional conduct.
All members of the BAcC (MBAcC) have BSc or BA degree level training or its equivalent in traditional acupuncture, Chinese medicine, and western biomedical sciences including anatomy, physiology and pathology.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
