About us

Acupuncture West London is located in the heart of Southfields, London SW18. The clinic also serves the following areas: Balham, Clapham, Earlsfield, Putney, Roehampton, Tooting Bec, Wandsworth and Wimbledon. The clinic is open from Monday to Friday between the hours of 7am and 7pm, and on Saturdays from 8am to 4pm.

Ben graduated from the International College of Oriental Medicine (ICOM) with a First Class BSc Honours degree in acupuncture awarded by Greenwich University. He is a practitioner of Chinese medicine and the following styles of acupuncture:

  • Classical Chinese Acupuncture
  • Wu Yun Liu Qi (Stems and Branches Acupuncture)
  • Five Element Acupuncture
  • Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)
  • Contemporary Acupuncture (Fertility, IVF/ICSI Support, Cosmetic Acupuncture, etc.)

At Acupuncture West London, we also offer the following traditional therapies as part of any acupuncture treatment when it is appropriate to do so and at no extra cost:

  • Cupping Therapy
  • Moxibustion (including for breech pregnancy)
  • Gua Sha

Ben is a fully certified member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), the British Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS) and the Acupuncture Fertility Network (AFN). He is also a member of the faculty at the International College of Oriental Medicine (ICOM) where he has been lecturing final years students since 2019.

Acupuncture (Initial appointment): £90
An initial acupuncture appointment lasts approximately 55 minutes and involves the following:

  • an assessment of your general health and medical history.
  • a physical examination.
  • an opportunity to raise any questions that you may have prior to treatment.
  • the commencement of treatment with the insertion of acupuncture needles.
  • the discussion of a treatment plan tailored to your requirements.

NB. If you return with a different problem some time after an initial course of treatment, you will not require an additional long appointment. Instead, please book a follow-up appointment.

Acupuncture (Follow-up appointment): £70
Follow-up appointments last approximately 40 minutes.

Appointments involve a brief review of your health since your prior appointment, which includes a discussion about any concerns that you may have. This is followed by the insertion of acupuncture needles.
