Before telling you more about me, I would like to share these thoughts with my potential clients, based on how I was feeling when I was in need of Reiki:

You are not alone.
You deserve to feel better.
Good mental and physical health is your birthright.
Your body is a self-healing machine if given the possibility.
Reiki is a gift from Usui to all of us.
Reiki energy is free, everywhere and infinite for a reason.
Don't let your doubts and negativity stop you, follow your heart and your intuition.
It doesn't matter how long you have been feeling how you feel, things can improve.

It's a privilege and an honor for me to feel this deep connection with energy.
I hope I can connect to your energy and let you feel what it feels like to be connected to Reiki energy.
I'm just a channel for the Reiki energy, the healing doesn't belong to me; your body does the healing.
I don't know where this energy comes from, if from Earth's magnetic field, the universe, or whatever you might associate with 'source'. It didn't matter to Usui and I'm following his attitude.
What I know is that I can feel it in me and I can feel when it goes from me to someone else.
I can't promise anything, you are the one who will judge if it's working for you or not.

There was a time in which I believed in pieces of paper, institutions and what others think of me.
That time is gone, I now just follow my intuition and feelings.
I have left the highly regarded Data Science field to embrace Reiki's 'quackery' and I feel much better.

We are all connected regardless of how much effort they put into telling us the opposite.

About me

I'm a Reiki practitioner in New Eltham (SE9), London.

I offer traditional Mikao Usui Reiki.

I worked as an AI Data Scientist for 23 years. After being affected by Long COVID for four years and experiencing first-hand the benefits that Reiki can have on my well-being, I decided to change direction and devote myself to practising Reiki.

I believe Reiki should be used more widely, regardless of age, gender, background, beliefs, or previous experience.
Anyone who is open to the idea of taking ownership of their health and well-being by trying natural supplements, yoga or mindfulness classes could benefit from Reiki as well.

Mikao Usui, the founder of Reiki, was a lay Tendai Buddhist monk and discovered Reiki as a way to reach spiritual enlightenment. However, in order for clients to benefit from the emotional and physical aspects of Reiki, no particular spiritual or religious element is needed.

Reiki has so many useful applications that probably the best summary is Usui's own description of Reiki taken from his memorial stone: 'The secret art of inviting happiness. The miraculous medicine of all diseases' (this quote is not a medical claim).

I work from my house, and I offer mobile and distant sessions as well. 

I practise from my living room at home, which I have deliberately kept looking like a normal living room rather than a traditional therapy space. There are no references to Japan, Reiki, or similar themes. I have included a few photographs so you can see the environment for yourself.

I give Reiki using a low portable bed, which I find very comfortable for treatments and easy to carry around. I prefer this setup to a standard massage table because sitting closer to the floor helps me relax and feel a deeper connection with the energy.    

Prices are for a 60-minute session.
At my home:
First appointment – £30
An introductory offer for new clients, allowing you to experience Reiki and become familiar with my approach.
Individual appointment – £50
Three-session package – £120

Mobile:
I also offer Reiki sessions in the comfort of your own home, provided it is within a one-hour journey by public transport from my home.
Mobile appointments incur an additional £20 per session to cover travel expenses and the extra time involved.
This surcharge applies to individual appointments and each session within a package.

Distant:
Distant sessions are greatly advantageous as a top-up in between in-person sessions or by themselves if you don't have time to dedicate to Reiki, as they are effective regardless of the activity you are doing while I perform the session.

They require the same effort for me as an in-person session but, as I'm free to fit them at a time of day that fits my calendar, I can offer them at a lower price.

My regular Reiki appointments are available Monday to Friday, between 12 pm and 7 pm.
Later appointments and weekend sessions may also be arranged by request, subject to availability.

Free parking is available in front of my house.
