About me
Sharon Eggers (Eden Acupuncture) is an accredited Acupuncture Practitioner practising in the Cheap street practice in Frome and offering a mobile service in Shepton Mallet, Midsomer Norton, Radstock, Paulton, Frome and surrounding areas. I first trained as a Reiki practitioner in 2006 and, following this, I gained a 3 year BSc (Hons) degree in acupuncture from the International College of Oriental Medicine (ICOM). I am a full member of the Acupuncture Society (MAcS), the UK's main regulatory body for the practice of traditional acupuncture, and abide by their strict code of practice. I am also a qualified massage therapist and I often use this alongside the acupuncture.
My acupuncture training incorporates Stems and Branches and the 5 Element System of acupuncture, along with the more commonly known Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) method. This wide approach provides a deep understanding of the Chinese medical system and allows the scope to treat a range of symptoms and conditions effectively. In addition, I have been particularly recommended by others for my reassuring calm manner and my professionalism – especially when dealing with nervous or special needs patients.
A key aspect of my treatments is that I use a combination of techniques to tailor the treatments to each individual.
