About me
I’m Rosina Barnett, a Midlife Explorer, EFT International Advanced Practitioner and Usui Reiki Level 2 practitioner based in Guildford.
I spent 27 years in the City of London working in asset management before changing direction. I now work with people who are curious about themselves, the stories they have been living by and how those stories shape the way they feel, respond and make choices.
My work brings together mind, body and energy. EFT and Reiki are two different approaches that I offer as standalone sessions.
EFT
EFT, or Emotional Freedom Technique, is a tapping technique. You tap on a sequence of acupressure points on the face and body while directing your attention to a specific issue, memory or feeling.
It can help when you understand something intellectually but still find yourself having the same emotional response. EFT gives you a way to work directly with that response rather than simply talking about it.
I hold EFT International Advanced Practitioner accreditation and volunteer as the resident EFT Practitioner for the Fountain Centre charity at the Royal Surrey Hospital, supporting people affected by cancer.
Sessions are up to 60 minutes and available in person in Guildford or online.
Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese practice involving light touch or hands held just above the body. During a session you remain fully clothed, usually lying comfortably on a treatment table, while I move through a sequence of hand positions.
People experience Reiki in different ways. Some feel warmth, tingling or a sense of deep relaxation. Others notice very little during the session but feel calmer afterwards. There is no particular experience you are supposed to have.
I completed my Usui Reiki Level 2 attunement in June 2025.
Sessions are up to 60 minutes and available in person at my home in Guildford or at your own location for an additional charge.
EFT and Reiki are offered as separate sessions, so you can choose whichever suits you. If you’re not sure which would be right for you, get in touch and we can have a chat.
Training, qualifications & experience
EFT International Advanced Practitioner accreditation, which requires 100 hours of practice sessions across practitioner and advanced/master levels. I've completed 150 hours in total.
Usui Reiki Level 2, attuned June 2025.
I volunteer as an EFT practitioner at The Fountain Centre, at the Royal Surrey Hospital, supporting people affected by cancer.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
EFT International (Emotional Freedom Techniques) is a not for profit organisation, commited to promoting and maintaining high professional standards within Emotional Freedom Techniques. All practitioners listed on the website hold appropriate insurance cover and have agreed to abide by the associations Code of Conduct and Ethics. In addition, members are also required to carry out an annual minimum number of Continuous Professional Development (CPD).

Further information
Alongside EFT and Reiki, I offer a private one-day intervention called the Catalyst Day, for professionals dealing with a recurring pattern in conflict, relationships, or decision-making. It draws on NLP, Hypnotherapy, Timeline Therapy, and Human Design, alongside EFT. I also offer standalone Human Design reports and single-session Strategic Intervention work for a specific situation or decision. Details are on my website, rosinabarnett.com.
