About me
If you need a massage at home to ease those aching muscles and live in East Suffolk then you might be interested to know that I am back from a brief 'retirement,' bringing over 20 years of experience in the therapy. While my new part-time 'semi-retirement' might not suit everyone, if you have a need for daytime massage therapy at your home on weekdays you might like to consider my services. Due to down-sizing, I am unable to see clients in my home.
I am happy to treat adults of all ages, and from all walks of life. Massage therapy is ideal for keeping muscles supple and easing irritating aches. A number of clients have used my services for a number of years; some have general aches and stiff muscles, perhaps through spending too much time driving or in front of a screen - or perhaps through strenuous exercise . Some seek massage as part of their musculoskeletal maintenance on the recommendation of a specialist practitioner such as an osteopath, while others simply appreciate the good things in life, including the benefit of having a relaxing massage at home without the journey home.
My hybrid style has its foundations in Swedish Massage and has evolved over the years, through Continuing Professional Development, to include a range of advanced and deep-tissue techniques. However, massage is but one skill in a range of possible solutions, and if it feels that you might achieve more by spending your money with a physio-therapist or osteopath, then I'll tell you so!
I bring a professional, sturdy, portable massage couch, along with all towels and oils. All you need to provide is a warm and quiet space. I enjoy the luxury of not "clock-watching" so have the time to fully appreciate your needs. I was a full member of Independent Professional Therapists International (IPTI) until the organisation was disbanded at the end of 2020. Professional Indemnity Insurance as an independent therapist continues through WellBeing Insurance.
