About me
I am a Usui reiki master who specialises in performing reiki on children. I have a therapeutic background, working as play therapist and a parent child attachment practitioner. I can offer reiki healing to people of all ages. Reiki is a form of energy healing where the practitioner has an awareness of high vibrational energy and shares this with the recipient by placing their hands on the body or hovering their hands over the body. Reiki is the Japanese word for life-force energy and is a natural form of healing which was founded in the 20th century in Japan. The modality works with bringing balance to the body and releasing any energetic blockages within. It is based on the idea that the body does its own best healing when in this relaxed meditative state whilst reiki energy is allowed to flow.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have qualifications in psychology, child development, play therapy and reiki at a master level. I have over 10 years of experience of being a therapist.

CNHC is the UK regulator for complementary healthcare practitioners. Its key function is to enhance public protection by setting standards for registration. Members must abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics and hold current professional indemnity insurance.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
