About us
J.L. Sports Injury Services is a small, expanding sports injury clinic based within the heart of Gosforth.
Founded in 2018 by Jack Laurie, J.L. Sports Injury Services specialises in providing a results based, clients centred approach towards diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal injuries. Treatment options include; Sports Massage, Electrotherapy, Ultrasound therapy, Medical Acupuncture or Kinesio Taping.
With access to state of the art gym equipment, not only do we focus on Injury assessment and treatment but we actively encourage proactivity from our clients and place great emphasis on Rehabilitation.
Training, qualifications & experience
Having graduated from Hull University with a BSc (Hons) in Sports Rehabilitation in 2015 and with seven years of experience, Jack has experience in Professional sport, representing both Leicester Tigers and Castleford Tigers. Jack also has experience in private practice having worked for clinics within the Newcastle Upon Tyne Region.
Qualifications include:
- BSc (Hons) Sport Rehabilitation
- Kinesio Taping
- Medical Acupuncture (OMT)
- First Aid at work

BASRaT is the UK voluntary regulator for Sport Rehabilitation Graduates. The BASRaT register has been approved as an Accredited Voluntary Register by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care.
