About me
Hello and welcome, I'm Jess.
I use EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique or tapping) in warm and collaborative online sessions, to support you to feel calmer, clearer and more in control.
What is EFT?
EFT is physical tapping on acupressure points, combined with focusing in specific ways on the issue.
It's okay if you're not sure what the problem is, you might just feel stuck, there's no place we can't start from.
All the points are non invasive (e.g face and hands), and the impact of tapping is quite often fast and easy to see, so you don't have to do it for a long time and wonder if it's working. You can usually feel a measurable difference in your emotions and body in your first session.
What You Can Expect
In sessions, you will:
Get an opportunity to connect with yourself and what's bothering you.
Spend some time talking it through if you want to. If there is something you prefer not to talk about you don't need to, we can still work with it. You are always in control.
Have an experience. EFT is not talking therapy, but a tool that you can use to partner with your body in allowing emotions that have become stuck or stored to shift and change.
Does it really work though?
Oh, yes. When I discovered EFT I was unsure too, but after years of watching and facilitating the transformation it offers, I am passionate about it. You are welcome to have a look at my website www.tapintotransformation.co.uk to find plenty of clinical research that demonstrates the changes EFT makes in the body and mind.
If you are feeling sceptical, I completely understand and you are very welcome. It might feel a little new and unfamiliar at first, but I invite you to come with curiosity, try EFT and see how it feels for you.
Online Sessions
Sessions are flexible, online and I often provide tapping resources for you to use outside of session if you find it helpful.
One of the biggest gifts of tapping is that while we do deeper and more focused work in session, you can bring much more ease, calm and balance into your everyday life with self-help tapping. You'll learn this as part of your first session to take away with you and use whenever you need to.
