My name is Elizabeth and i offer EFT, Reiki and Hypnotherapy from a lovely therapy room in central Canterbury and online.

Sometimes, life can be so overwhelming that your thoughts and emotions become trapped in a spiral of negativity. And because humans have been programmed with a negative bias, this can become your norm were you always see the bad things that happen to you and lose light of all the good things in your life. You may even feel disconnected from the world.

My Journey With Energy

Many years ago, i became disillusioned with life, i lost my spark and connection. It was a very dark place, a place where i have no intention of revisiting. It was during this time that i received my first Reiki session from a friend. As she put her hand over my abdomen i saw a bright flash of white light and a calmness sweep over me. I was intrigued so much that after many other nudges, i trained in Reiki and later with Emotional Freedom Techniques. 

Using everything i had learned, i began to see things differently and began to change how i felt and reacted to situations. It took a little while, but week by week i became stronger, had more resolve and energy. People noticed how peaceful and calm i had become. I felt my connection to everyone and everything return and now i feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude for life.

What is EFT?

EFT can help with a variety of emotional and physical issues, including; fears and phobias, painful memories, grief, anxiety and stress, weight loss, cravings, limiting beliefs, habits, performance issues such as fear of public speaking, exam anxiety, fear of visibility, emotional and physical pain, sleep issues and anything else that holds you back from being the best version of you.

It’s thought that the physical action of tapping calms the nervous system by interrupting our fight-or-flight response and increasing our endorphins. By saying positive affirmations as we do this, we can stimulate our energy channels and ‘neutralise’ emotional blocks.

What is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese technique of energy healing which is administered by channelling energy or life force through the hands of a practitioner to the recipient. Holistic in its approach, Reiki works with the energetic, physical and emotional aspects of the individual to address imbalances on all levels. There are many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing.
