About me
Hello, thanks for reading my profile. I am Ali Rookes and am an experienced and professionally trained Reflexologist (MAR), Hypnotherapist (GQHR), Reiki Master (UKRF), Spiritualist healing medium (SNU) and Swedish massage therapist. I run my own practice (Amaya Wellbeing) in beautiful Cockley Cley, just outside Swaffham. I am in easy travelling distance of Fakenham, Dereham, Downham Market and King’s Lynn and 50 minutes from Norwich.
I trained with Louise Keet at the London School of Reflexology and am a full member of the Association of Reflexologists (AoR). I qualified as a spiritual healer with Harry Edwards Healing College and am now a healing medium and tutor with the Spiritualists National Union (SNU).
I studied Hypnotherapy with the East Anglian Institute of Hypnotherapy in Norwich. The GHSC accredited training course integrated Hypnotherapy, Counselling, Coaching, NLP and Thought Field Therapy. I am registered on the General Hypnotherapy Register in the UK.
I have also trained in Swedish massage and facial reflexology.
I volunteer regularly as a Complementary Therapist at the Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House, in Hillington, and feel honoured to be able to help clients with life-limiting conditions and at end of life.
I just love being able to make people feel better. To see a client transform and turn their life round, or just feel rejuvenated after a relaxing treatment. It is so rewarding and I count my blessings every day to be doing what I love.
Training, qualifications & experience
I trained in Reflexology at the London School of Reflexology with the renowned Louise Keet. I have done post-graduate training with Tony Porter (ART), Touchpoint Denmark, Jan Williamson, Mauricio Kruchik (from Israel), Lynne Booth (VRT).
I trained in Usui Reiki to the Master/Teacher level and then went on to train for two years as a spiritual healer with the wonderful Harry Edwards College near Guildford in Surrey. I am also a tutor and healing medium with the SNU (Spiritualists National Union). I volunteer regularly at their church in Norwich. I also volunteer as a Complementary Therapist at the Norfolk Hospice.
I am a qualified hypnotherapist on the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR) in the UK.
Member organisations
The UK Reiki Federation is a professional association with the objective of forming a national umbrella organisation for education, training and guidance in the practice of reiki.
Currently the Reiki Federation requires their members to have signed their code of ethics, hold practitioner insurance and hold certificates appropriate to their membership type.
The Association of Reflexologists (AoR) is a non-profit making association which aims to provide support to professionally qualified practitioners.
Membership is open to practitioners who have gained an approved qualification or who have provided proof that their training and practical skills meet the standards set by the AoR.

£20.00 - £65.00
Additional information
I charge £40 per one hour session of reflexology. It can be combined with reiki/healing (1.5 hours for £60). Half-hour reflexology taster sessions are available for £25.
Reiki/spiritual healing £35 for 45 min
Telephone healing £20 for 30 min
Hypnotherapy (combined with NLP/TFT) sessions are £65 per hour
If you are unwaged or on low income, I offer healing on a donation basis (pay what you can afford).
