Want to learn how to meditate?

This is an introduction to meditation workshop suitable for beginners, those who have difficulty meditating or simply want to try different types of meditation.

On the day we be covering:

  • Introduction to meditation.
  • Benefits of meditation.
  • The chakras.
  • How to prepare.
  • Common questions and problems.
  • How to open and close (for sensitive people).
  • Breathing meditation.
  • Guided meditation.
  • Sound meditation.
  • Mantras and yantras.
  • Concentration meditation - inner/outer objects and inner focus.
  • Mindfulness.

We will be covering which crystals can help you meditate.

As this is only a three hour workshop we will be just sampling the meditations so you can then go home and practice more to find a style that suit you. I have designed this workshop for the beginner who may be intimidated to join an experienced meditation class to learn.

You can choose to meditate in the chairs provided or bring your favourite blanket and cushion. It is more important you feel relaxed so you enjoy the time.

It is £40 prepayment which covers the training, accompanying notes for you to take home and refreshments. You simply need to bring your lunch and a pen.

Places are limited as usual. If you would like to attend or have any further questions please call Julia on 07931 337941.
