A new one year diploma course in reflexology will be starting on 26th February 2017 in Kent. Places are available to book now, so if you are interested in taking part, please get in touch. A catch-up day will be made available to anyone wanting to attend but may miss the first day.

The course will be held at Clout House in West Malling with free parking and only a 10 minute walk from the local train station.

The International Institute of Reflexology training courses are held throughout the UK and offer professional standard courses enabling you to work confidently, holistically and in a professional manner to assist your clients towards better health and well-being.

The IIR training schools all have fully qualified, working reflexologists with the teaching experience to take you through your qualification.

Eunice Ingham was the mother of reflexology and is our founder. Dwight C. Byers, her nephew, is the president of the IIR and continues to maintain the exceptionally high standards of the "original ingham method".

The dual qualification of the IIR diploma and the level three City and Guilds awards affords you international and European recognition. The theory units can all be used towards training in other therapies should you so wish and the practical work is of the highest standards of precision and accuracy, enabling you to work holistically with each individual client on both feet and/or hands on the appropriate body systems to assist most effectively with the healing process for clients.

Tuition on how to assess clients needs on an individual basis ensures you always provide the most effective treatment for you clients.

Key course content:

  • reflexology theory and practice
  • anatomy, physiology and common pathologies
  • marketing and business practice
  • nutrition and well-being
  • complimentary therapy practice knowledge

We cover all aspects of working with clients:

  • babies and children
  • fertility
  • maternity
  • all health issues
  • cancer and palliative care

Bridging courses:

These have been developed to raise the qualification to acceptable standards for membership to the reflexology membership associations and therefore organisations such as CNHC (Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council) that will enable graduates to work within the NHS.

The IIR UK are the only school to offer such an option and in agreement with the IIR UK negotiation of exactly how many days and the amount of work required to "upgrade" to become IIR qualified.
