In this 8-week online therapeutic yoga series, we'll blend release work, core strengthening and balance to help you achieve a harmonious mind-body connection. Whether you're seeking relief from stress-induced tension or aiming to address physical discomforts like back pain, hip pain, or incontinence, this series is tailored to meet your needs.

You’ll get everything you need to take your functional well-being to the next level!

Designed and led by Tess Jewell-Larsen:

Tess Jewell-Larsen empowers you to go from exhausted and overwhelmed to balanced and thriving. Tess is a certified mindfulness coach, somatic healer and yoga therapist in training. Tess specialises in stress and burnout, pelvic health and women's health. Tess herniated a disc in her spine, S1-L5, in 2020 and since then she has been passionate about pain care, and core and pelvic health. This series was created out of her own healing journey to not only reduce the physical pain she felt but also to increase her core mobility, improve her balance after the injury and reduce the stress that fed into the sensations of pain and discomfort she felt in her body.

FAQs:

How long is each class? Each session is 60 minutes long. In each session, we'll work on releasing tension in the body and improving core strength and stability.

I'm pregnant or in postpartum, can I join this series? Yes! As long as you have been released by your doctor, you are more than welcome in these sessions. As soon as you sign up, you'll receive an intake form, please let me know any specific health information you'd like me to know before we get started. If you have any questions about whether this series is right for you book a call with me.

I have back pain, will this series help? While this series is not in replacement of any medical interventions that you may need, many of these exercises I'll be sharing with you can be very helpful in reducing back pain. That being said, please make sure you have leave from your doctor to join this series.

What equipment will I need? I highly recommend that you have access to (if you don't have access to any of these items let me know, it's possible that you have something at home that could work instead!):

  • 2 blocks
  • a tennis ball (or a lacrosse ball, massage ball or any other smaller ball that you can use for fascial and tension release)
  • 2 light-weight weights
  • bolster or two pillows
  • blanket
  • yoga strap or scarf

Why are there limited spaces? There are limited spaces because I personalise the series to support the individuals who come. I will send each person an intake form (the same one I send my private therapeutic clients!) so I can best gauge how to focus the series and support your health needs and goals.
