I would love to welcome you to The Heard Therapy CIC in the heart of the Somerset Countryside. In our lovely yurt, surrounded by our herd of therapy horses and nature, I can offer you a safe place where you may receive complimentary support in the form of Reiki, Mindfulness and Kundalini yoga practices, supported by Facilitated equine connection. 

I work primarily as a trauma focused Psychotherapeutic counsellor but can see the value in expanding to offer the energy work that I do.

I'm also training in Somatic Experiencing which involves working with the body to promote trauma resolution, I like to combine this approach with the yoga and reiki to offer a gentle one to one trauma sensitive practice.

Each person is welcomed as an individual and is encouraged to work within their level of comfort.

A session may be held in the yurt, or in the field with the horses. The horses are on a track system and therefore always behind a fence so that you may completely relax and enjoy their beautiful co regulationg energy and presence.

The session would start with some gentle yoga practice and relaxation with a focus on the body and your present moment experience, then we would explore equine and nature connection, or reiki energy connection, all held within the practice of yoga and somatic awareness.

A session can take up to 2 hours to allow plenty of time and space to be and recieve what it is you need.

The fee depends on your choice of programme and the required length of session, all will be discussed and agreed before the session takes place.

An assessment session would need to be carried out intially so that we may discuss your individual programme.
