My name is Rachel Charlton. I have been practising Health Kinesiology for 10 years and I still get excited to see the positive results gained from the sessions. It is a truly holistic therapy working on correcting stress and imbalances within the body to bring about a much more increased state of health and well-being. This is how it works; gentle muscle testing is combined with verbal questioning to communicate directly with your body's unique energy system. This skilled technique involves applying light pressure to a muscle (normally your arm) and monitoring how it responds. If the muscle holds steady, the system is responding with a' yes'. If the muscle is not steady, the system is responding with a 'no'.
A wide range of powerful procedures are offered to re-balance your body's energy system. Your body is able to select those procedures that will be the most helpful to you by saying 'yes' with a steady muscle response. Each procedure your body selects via muscle testing highlights the specific stress that has disrupted your system. The identified stress is then corrected.
Generally people need on average 4-6 sessions to see a significant improvement in what they have come for. But this does vary from person to person. Health Kinesiology is particularly effective at reducing and removing stress and anxiety.
Each session lasts around 1 hour while you lie down on a therapy couch fully clothed. People normally find a session a relaxing experience.
I work in a relaxed and friendly manner within a calming environment.
