Yvette Daoust

About me

I am a fully qualified and experienced teacher of the Alexander technique. I teach in a pleasant quiet room overlooking a garden in north Wembley. I also taught at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office for ten years.

At Barn Hill Alexander, I help you to become more aware of what you are doing to yourself and to change by moving more thoughtfully.

Lessons can have far-reaching effects. As one of my pupils from Ireland put it:

It is no exaggeration to say my lessons with Yvette have been life changing.  I have become much more centred in myself physically and emotionally.  Life has become more enjoyable.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a teaching member of the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique (STAT). I  trained with Walter Carrington at the Constructive Teaching Centre on their internationally recognised 3 year full time teacher training course. I am fully insured and abide by STAT's professional code of conduct.
