Your Life Physiotherapy is a home visit service providing individual Physiotherapy rehabilitation to the towns and large rural area between York, Harrogate, Thirsk and Wetherby.
The service aims to help you to improve following surgery, injury or illness.
I have over 12 years of experience in a wide variety of clinical areas including: elderly care, neurology, amputees, bone cancer, stroke, respiratory medicine, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, paediatrics, post surgery rehab and spinal cord injury.
I have a specialist interest in Orthopaedic rehabilitation following 5 years as a Senior Physiotherapist at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, London.
I am up to date in the current rehabilitation protocols following joint replacements, soft tissue repairs and fracture management, as well as best practice guidelines for the management of chronic joint conditions. I am also skilled in rehabilitation post hospital discharge and following complex trauma.
I am registered with the HCPC and CSP and am a member of the Association of Trauma and Orthopaedic Chartered Physiotherapists group.
I am also trained in clinical pilates (DMA matwork) and through working at the London Spinal Cord injury centre have had training in Bobath principles of neurological rehabilitation.
Initial assessments are an hour long, giving you the time to discuss your concerns and allow for an indepth asssessment. Treatment is then tailored to meet your clinical condition, lifestyle and the goals which are important to you. All assessment and treatment takes place at a location convenient to you.

£45 initial assessment/ per hour session
£30 for 40 minute follow up
Reduced rates available for long term supervised exercise programmes if required
