About us
Pain specialist musculature soft tissue injury centre based in Skelmersdale, Lancashire. We provide a Musculature Therapy / Rehabilitation service, as our programs reduce the risk of re-injury occurrence. Treatments we provide consists of: Sports Massage, Holistic Massage, Electrotherapy, Manipulative Therapy, Traction Couches, Bio mechanics, Gym Rehabilitation, and Cryotherapy.
Training, qualifications & experience
Lead Sports Therapist Vincent, completed his bachelor of science degree in Sports Therapy at Newcastle College. Vincent also completed his National Diploma in Sports before moving onto a Foundation Degree in Sports and Exercise Therapy at West Lancashire College. Vincent has completed additional qualifications, these include: ITEC Level 3 & 4 in Sports Massage, Qualification in Manipulative Therapy, NCFE Level 2 in Gym Instructing, F.A. Level 2 Treatment Management of Injuries in Football. He is also UKA Athletics qualified as a Coaching Assistant.
Additional training consists of being Masters certified in the Neil Asher Technique, CPD course completion on Low Level Laser Therapy, and Kinesio UK KT1/2 & KT3 Certification on Kinesiology Taping.
He was in the sport of rugby league, the Sports Therapy / Rehabilitation service provider to the Bolton, Bury, Rochdale U15 & U16's Service Area Rugby League Development Centre, Rochdale Cobras ARFL, Fiji UK ARFL, Rochdale Hornets ARFL U20's.
Currently, Vincent has been selected to be involved in other elite sports whereby he will be a Sports Therapist at all the IMG Triathlon series events as well as the British & World Triathlon Championships, and more recently, the Tour de Yorkshire Cycle Race (stage 3).

Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council
CNHC is the UK regulator for complementary healthcare practitioners. Its key function is to enhance public protection by setting standards for registration with CNHC.
Members must abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics and hold current professional indemnity insurance.

Federation of Holistic Therapists
FHT is the largest multi-disciplinary therapy organisation in the UK and has been representing holistic, beauty and sports therapists for over 45 years.
There a number of different membership categories (including Fellows, Member, Student, Associate and Non-Practitioner) which are dependent on qualifications and experience.
FHT enforce high professional standards, and all Members, Fellows and Student Members are required to follow a strict Code of Ethics and Professional Practice.

Sports Massage Association
The Sports Massage Association (SMA) was launched in 2002 as a way of helping the public to understand which practitioners were appropriately qualified.
Over the years the association has developed and not only aims to protect and inform the public but also to support the profession and encourage further training and practice.
