About me
I was born and grew up in Belgium. When I was 16 years old I was given a book about yoga for self-healing. This small book introduced me to the body's inherent ability to heal itself given the right stimulation.
In 1994, whilst still at University training to be a Translator (French, English, Portuguese and Russian), I started my first bodywork training in Swedish Massage and subsequently trained in reflexology and sports massage before discovering Shiatsu in 1999.
In Shiatsu I found the therapeutic approach I had been looking for. An approach that stimulates the body's inherent healing ability and one that meets us on every level of being - physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual.
Whilst I work with a varied client group, as a mother of two young children I am particularly interested in working with new mothers and postnatal conditions.
