I'm a fully qualified Chinese medicine acupuncture practitioner, offering an integrated approach of both five element and traditional Chinese Medicine.
Acupuncture is a safe, effective, drug-free method of supporting the body/mind systems in their own natural healing processes. It can be valuable in treating a diverse range of conditions such as anxiety, digestive disorders, hay fever, insomnia, infertility for men & women, pregnancy discomforts, menopausal symptoms and stress to name but a few. Acupuncture also enhances your general wellbeing by focusing treatment on you as an individual with emphasis on the root cause of your condition.
Acupuncture involves the insertion of very fine needles into specific points to stimulate the body to heal itself. Many people find it extremely relaxing and can even fall asleep during treatment! I've had clients who are scared of needles & they continue to return.
A detailed initial consultation enables me to create an individually tailored treatment diagnosis and plan for you. The root of your condition will be obtained via questioning and some physical analysis. For example, pulse taking and observing your tongue.
You will always be fully involved in the process, with your expectations discussed and a comfortable environment that allows you to ask any questions.
