Hot Stone Reflexology treatment involves the use of hot smooth stones on the feet and lower legs. This is a deeply relaxing treatment and works the reflexes on a deeper level. A slightly longer treatment requiring aproximately 80 mins.

Reflexology is a safe and non-intrusive complementary therapy that can benefit the whole person and not just a condition by encouraging the body to balance and heal itself.
A reflexologist works on points (reflexes) on the feet, lower legs or hands. Reflexology is based on the theory that the hands and feet are a map of the body’s organs, glands and tissues and by applying pressure to these points(reflex points) homeostasis (balance) may be restored to the body. It is felt that many health disorders can be related to stress and tension. Effective circulation is crucial for the effective nourishment of cells and toxin elimination. When tense, circulation can become inhibited and imbalances can occur. If unresolved illness may develop. By inducing deep relaxation, reflexology can help to reduce stress and tension within the body and therefore promote healing and a general sense of well-being.
Reflexology should not be used as an alternative to seeking medical advice and we encourage you to tell your doctor that you are considering/receiving reflexology.
If you have been diagnosed with or suspect you may have a pre-existing medical condition you should consult your GP for advice, diagnosis and treatment and always inform your health professional before starting any alternative or additional therapies, treatments or making any major changes in your diet or exercise programme.
