About me

Top To Toe Treatments was founded in April 2014 by Tracy Mills B.Sc (Hons,Genetics), MAR, ARR, PRM, MFHT, BFRP.

Tracy is passionate about health & wellbeing and supporting clients in their health goals.

Her principle treatment is Reflexology which is extremely popular for its overall benefits to wellbeing.

By working on reflex points on the feet or hands, all systems of the body can be brought back into balance to work optimally together to support the individual. A deep sense of relaxation can be achieved during treatment which in itself is extremely beneficial.

Tracy draws upon her depth and breadth of knowledge in healthcare to tailor treatments for the individual and if required, signpost clients to specialists in other disciplines.  She has an analytical and enquiring mind and can think outside the box to help identify solutions for the client, part of which can include lifestyle factors and self help approaches for clients to work with between treatments.

As a holistic therapist Tracy works with the whole person and the mind-body connection to promote wellbeing. Tracy is also a qualified Bach Flower Remedy Practitioner (BFRP) enabling her to conduct consultations and produce personalised remedy mixes for a client. The Bach flower remedies were developed by Harley Street medic Dr Bach, in the 1930s and have stood the test of time since, working to calm emotions and in doing so can help reduce physical dis-ease.

Training, qualifications & experience

Tracy has more than 20 years of experience working in the healthcare industry, as a genetic research scientist, ultimately specialising in individualised medicines. Her discoveries have included identification of a gene responsible for lack of pain sensation in a family pedigree. Her degree is in Biological Sciences (Genetics) from The University of Birmingham. She has worked across the spectrum of disease areas and been involved in many gene-mapping studies.

Always working on the edge of understanding and passionate about healthcare, her research has led her to holistic therapies and given her an up to date insight into many health conditions from a western medicine perspective, which she applies with her holistic/whole person approach to well-being, enabling her to support her clients in their health goals.

She is constantly updating her skills and knowledge with further training in advanced clinical techniques, many of which she has undertaken at the Christie Hospital complementary therapy unit.

Tracy works with clients across the full wellbeing and fitness spectrum and at all stages of life from pre-conception to end of life.

Clients include the Local Authority, BUPA, NHS Trusts, Cheshire Fertility Centre, private individuals and corporate groups. She has been fortunate to have been able to offer treatments via lottery funding to community groups and has volunteered since April 2014 for a local cancer help centre.

Tracy attends regular health support groups for Endometriosis and Fibromyalgia, to understand patients needs better and her declaration of commitment to helping chronic Long Term Conditions can be found on the NHS England April 2016 Bulletin.

Tracy is qualified in Reflexology and Reproductive Reflexology and is a full member of the Association of Reflexologists and Association of Reproductive Reflexologists, trained by Barbara Scott. She enjoys keeping up to the minute by undertaking continuous training which is also required by her professional body the AOR. She is on the Professional Standards Agency accredited register for referrals by other health services and professionals.
