The Zen Academy is here to help you reconnect back within yourself for a more empowered life and to take the time to heal, awaken & be guided back to your truth to achieve clarity, confidence, and emotional freedom.
I am Joanne and I am a reiki energy healer and empowerment coach.
Reiki has always been my passion, it is a beautiful therapy that creates a space for you to come and be held in a place of love and to help you reconnect back within yourself.
'Feeling' this beautiful energy of healing really is believing and will promote a sense of well-being, aid relaxation and help improve energy levels. A 1 hour treatment is said to be worth 3-4 hours deep rest!
I went on to train as a life coach and study the mind body connection through energy as a result of burnout within my 20 year corporate career. This was also coupled with a number of traumatic childhood and life experiences, which led me to embrace a healing and mindset journey to find inner peace. I am passionate about supporting, empowering and enhancing the lives of others who have been through similar situations.
Think of me as your ‘inner mentor’ as my therapies guide you on an intuitive journey back to your true self & who you came here to be. I uniquely connect you back with your heart, body mind & soul and find the answers from within to what you will have been searching for externally.
I fully empower you to embody the healing & action you need to take for a more fulfilled life - working through your inner limitations to gain clarity on your life purpose and create a strategy for your success.
I intuitively use a mixture of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), reiki, meditation and self-enquiry to energetically connect with you & support your connection back into yourself, creating lasting change with clarity, confidence & a clear direction.

I have over two years experience as a fully trained therapist & life coach focusing on empowerment and energy healing for all areas of life.
Before that I spent 20 years in corporate marketing coaching, building and motivating teams. I understand the pressures of work life balance and the need to really reconnect with yourself to overcome the challenges, limitations and burnout we experience in every day life.
