About us

The Retreat, Brecon along with Robs No Worries Yoga and Shraons Bodywork Clinic are based at the Well Being Centre in Breco offering a range of Beauty, Holistic and Massage therapies and Yoga.

Donna of the The Retreat Brecon offers Eve Taylor Aromatherapy Skin & Body care, Mavala Hand and Nail Care,  Manicure and Pedicures, Gel Polish, Eye Treatments, Hot & Cold Waxing, Spray Tanning.  Massage therapies include Swedish, Deep Tissue, Indian Head, Pregnancy, and Massage for cancer care, Hot Stone.  As a Clinical Aromatherapist Donna uses a range of carrier and essential oils if desired.  Donna also offers Ear Candling and Flower Essence therapy.

Rob offers Hatha Yoga classes with a range of session times Tuesday to Saturday, with evening classes on Wednesday and Thursday.  He also offers one to one sessions, or smaller private groups of 2 - 6 people.

Sharon is qualified in Sports massage.  Sports massage is suitable for anyone who has on going soft tissue, muscular, tendon or ligament damage, including scar tissue issues.
Sharon also offers Reflexology and Northern Style Thai Yoga Massage

Training, qualifications & experience

Donna, Rob and Sharon are all members of the FHT Federation of Holistic Therapies.
And appear the voluntary register for therapies which are recognised.  The FHT Complementary Healthcare Therapist Register has been accredited by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care, a body accountable to Parliament.

Rob is also a memeber of the BWY British Wheel of Yoga.  He offers yoga at Ty Orbis working with austic children and at Ysgol Penmaes, Brecon with children with special needs.

We each undertake annual cppd Continue Professional Personal Developement.

Federation of Holistic Therapists

FHT is the largest multi-disciplinary therapy organisation in the UK and has been representing holistic, beauty and sports therapists for over 45 years.

There a number of different membership categories (including Fellows, Member, Student, Associate and Non-Practitioner) which are dependent on qualifications and experience.

FHT enforce high professional standards, and all Members, Fellows and Student Members are required to follow a strict Code of Ethics and Professional Practice.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
