I graduated from the European school of Osteopathy in 1989 and I have been working as an Osteopath in my local area since!
Running a family based practice working with patients of all ages from newborn to the elderly, I have vast experience with a mixture of Classical, myofascial and cranial approaches. It is a privilege to be able to spend my life working at something I love so much and extremely rewarding to have supported many individuals through different problems.
What is Osteopath and how can it help?
Osteopathy is great for relieving tensions and strains in one system can have far reaching beneficial effects across all body systems.
Described as a gentle and effective hands-on approach to healthcare, based on the principle that the way your body moves influences how it functions
It mostly works on muscles and joints, using a wide range of gentle, non-invasive manual techniques such as deep-tissue massage, joint articulation and manipulation.
Conditions that I often see and are able to help with include:
Back neck andgeneral spinal stiffness/pain
Muscle sprain and spasms
Sciatica and other nerve pain or entrapment syndromes
Cervicogenic headaches, migraine and TMJ pain
Work related and postural problems
Peripheral joint strain and pains and
Frozen shoulder, shoulder and elbow pains associated with musculoskeletal conditions
Rheumatic and fibromyalgia pains
Functional digestive problems
Relaxation, stress management and support
Please contact me via email or telephone to discuss available appointments.
