About me

I am a fully qualified Physiotherapist and Acupuncture Practitioner.
I treat people of all ages with spinal, joint, muscle, tendon and ligament problems associated with sport, work or through wear and tear.
Once I have relieved the pain, I give advice on how to avoid it in the future.

Using acupuncture, I am also able to help people who might be suffering from stress, tension headaches, sleep disturbance, symptoms associated with hormonal changes for example hot flushes, bladder control problems, hay fever.

When in pain - you really need help fast. Please call or send me an email. l will be able to give you advice over the telephone and provide you with a prompt appointment.

Training, qualifications & experience

I qualified in 1978 and have passed numerous postgraduate examinations since.

I am a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, Physio First, Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP) and Society of Orthopaedic Medicine (SOMM). I am registered with the Health Professionals Council (HCPC)

The Acupuncture Association for Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP) are a Professional Association who aim to integrate Acupuncture into Physiotherapy Practice for the treatment of pain and illness.

There are various types of AACP membership (e.g. Accredited, Advanced, Student etc) and each has its own set of entry requirements.

The HCPC's primary role is to protect the public and ensure they have a reliable resource for finding professionals qualified to a high standard.
