Hello, I'm Sophie Paine qualified in Massage Therapy and Reflexology with 20 years experience in holistic healthcare. Combining practical knowledge with intuition and a person centred approach I offer support through sessions tailored to your individual needs. My areas of specialism are in stress and anxiety management, pregnancy massage and reflexology for fertility issues.
I am qualified in Biodynamic Massage an approach aimed at helping people develop a healthy way of self regulating and literally digesting and processing the effects of stress and am currently training in Biodynamic Psychotherapy (with London School of Biodynamic Psychotherapy) which combines talking therapy, massage and bodywork. This approach to massage requires the longer term commitment of the psychotherapeutic process to allow subtle and profound changes in physical and emotional patterns to unfold.
My original holistic massage training was through the MTI (Massage Training Institute) and I have been a registered member with them since since 1996. I’ve been a qualified member of the AOR (Association of Reflexologists) since 2007 and am fully insured.
Stress and anxiety can be the cause of many health issues effecting sleep, digestion, fertility and hormonal balance to name a few. Identifying patterns of stress and allowing deep relaxation through regular bodywork and self-help techniques may make lasting changes to your health and well-being
