About me

I am a holistic therapist specialising in Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Massage and Indian Head Massage.

Aromatherapy:
Following client consultation, I will create a unique blend to help with highlighted problems.  These can range from headaches, aches and pains, eczema and psoriasis to sleeplessness, influenza and spots to name just a few.  Take some time out to recover from the stresses of life, and recuperate.

Reflexology/Reflexology for Fertility:

This ancient therapy is renowned for releasing energy blockages at reflex points in the feet and helps to "kick-start" the body to heal itself.  Whilst it should not replace conventional medical advice, many clients have found it hugely beneficial for a range of conditions including boosting a weak immune system, maintaining appropriate sugar levels as well as improving psychological well-being.  Anecdotal evidence suggests that reflexology has boosted fertility and helped couples to concieve where other methods such as IVF have failed.

A relaxing and beneficial treatment, it is recommended that a minimum course of six weeks is attended to allow the body some time to deliver maximum benefits.

Indian Head Massage:

Another ancient therapy and part of every day life in the Indian culture, this treatment is excellent for releasing stress and tension in the upper back, shoulders, neck, head and face.  The client may remain fully clothed whilst treatment is carried out.  Use of oils is optional - these may be hair oils or essential oils blended with a suitable carrier oil.  For clients suffering with dry skin conditions, a customised blend of essential oils is recommended.

Swedish Massage:

Ever popular, this soothing massage involves the use of various techniques to break up tension knots within muscles that can accumulate over time.  Unlike some other massage techniques, Swedish Massage is intended to encourage easing of tense muscles without feeling uncomfortable, and is the ideal massage for those new to massage.

I have worked as an independent holistic therapist for several years.  My clients have found that they benefited the treatments received, and often request a combination such as Reflexology and Indian Head Massage on occasion.

As well as offering treatments, I also run workshops to offer the opportunity to learn more about using essential oils safely, as well as creating your own toiletries such which are free of harmful parabens.

For those that enjoy practising Indian Head Massage on family and friends, there is a workshop available to learn more about the techniques involved.
