About me

My name is Shaun Maddock DHP. ITEC. BTEC. MFHT. LAPHP.

I am a Complementary Therapist, I offer Sports & Clinical Remedial Massage, Clinical Hypnotherapy, Holistic Massage, Reflexology, EFT and EMDR and also On - Site Chair Massage.

I am currently operating in the Oakley area of Basingstoke.

I work from home where I treat a wide variety of clients from the NAC Ladies World Champion Bodybuilder to competitive sportsmen and women from all aspects of the sporting arena, Runners, Cyclist, Cage Fighters to everyday people from all walks of life, using a wide variety of techniques to relieve aches, pains and strains to ease tension and stress and mobilise stiff joints, improve flexibility and circulation I am also providing Clinical Hypnotherapy for clients to help in a myriad of ways from enhancing sports performance to pain management to weight loss and management and so much more.

Unfortunately I do Not provide a mobile service at the moment for physical therapies but I do offer Hypnotherapy remotely online or by phone.

I believe to do a job well you must love what you do, I love my work and am proud of the services I provide, I provide quality value for money treatments at affordable rates.

Training, qualifications & experience

I trained full time at the Royal National College in Hereford and gained the following qualifications -

  • ITEC LEVEL 3 BODY MASSAGE
  • ITEC LEVEL 3 SPORTS MASSAGE
  • ITEC LEVEL 3 REFLEXOLOGY
  • ITEC LEVEL 3 ON SITE CHAIR MASSAGE


I have continude further training (CPD's) at the London school of massage (LSM) where I have gained the following qualifications -

  • ITEC LEVEL 4 In Sports Massage
  • BTEC LEVEL 5 IN SPORTS & CLINICAL REMEDIAL MASSAGE
  • FHT approved CPD - Trigger point Therapy course

I have gained work experience at Hereford Utd football club.
Experience of working at the Point 4 Health Club remedial therapies clinic in Hereford working on a vast array of clients with different conditions from pregnancy to Downes Syndrome to people on dialysis to elite sportsmen and women and everyday members of the public.

Working from home I offer all treatments for which I am qualified.

I also have attended corporate events and premises providing On Site Chair Massage to employees and management.

FHT is the largest multi-disciplinary therapy organisation in the UK and has been representing holistic, beauty and sports therapists for over 45 years.

There a number of different membership categories (including Fellows, Member, Student, Associate and Non-Practitioner) which are dependent on qualifications and experience.

FHT enforce high professional standards, and all Members, Fellows and Student Members are required to follow a strict Code of Ethics and Professional Practice.

On Site Chair Massage is also available for individual and group bookings as are my other treatments.

Further information

A parent or guardian must acccompany clients under 18 years of age.

Clients are welcome to have a partner or friend attend thair Treatment session if nervous of receiving a Treatment from a male Therapist.
