About Holistic Massage
Holistic Massage takes into consideration your physical, mental and emotional health. Each session is completely tailored to you, depending on how you feel and what you would like from your massage on the day.
Holistic Massage incorporates a unique blend of traditional Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, hands-free and remedial techniques. Swedish massage is very relaxing to receive and reduces the effects of stress, including headaches, fatigue and anxiety. Deep tissue massage and remedial techniques treat chronic conditions and injuries, and effectively relieve aches and pains. Deep tissue massage is applied with skill and sensitivity. To ensure that you receive the best massage, I encourage open communication throughout. So if anything is feeling too much or too little, you can say and I'll adjust the pressure to suit you.
I am currently working with clients with MS, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, scoliosis, sciatica, chronic back pain, cancer and much more.
What to expect
Your initial appointment includes a full health and lifestyle consultation, which is an opportunity to talk through any health concerns, and for us to create a suitable treatment plan together.
Each session includes a massage tailored to your needs and wishes, and a short space for feedback and aftercare at the end. This may include a stretch and/or relaxation technique, which will help to prolong the benefits of your massage.
For mobile visits, I bring everything to your home or holiday accommodation, including towels, organic oils and a selection of soothing music. My massage table is very comfortable and has an integrated arm rest, which gets rave reviews from clients! All that is required is a suitable space to set up the massage table with enough room for me to move freely around it, and a quiet environment so that you can fully relax.
"Sarah has worked wonders on my C1/C2 area of spine. I had terrible pain and numbness for nearly a year but Sarah has sorted me out. Now virtually pain free and controllable with easy exercises. Sarah is a real professional, caring and supportive. Always scrupulously clean, tidy and punctual, she creates a truly healing environment. Detailed information taken about my problems and personalised care plan followed. No hesitation in recommending Sarah to anyone." Krys
"Sarah's massages are truly wonderful! I have MS and find them so calming and relaxing. Sarah makes sure the treatment is tailored to your needs and is always so kind and considerate as to how you are feeling throughout the session. I feel more able to deal with the problems my condition throws at me on a daily basis after one of these massages. Highly recommended. And also she plays the most gorgeous music while she is working on you. Such a treat for mind, body and soul!" Denise
"I always look forward to a massage with Sarah. My aches and pains have improved significantly through regular sessions. The pressure is always perfect though there would be no problem saying if it weren't. I am left feeling pampered and relaxed, thank you." Sara
"I started having regular massages from Sarah as part of my therapy for chronic fatigue syndrome. They are such a treat to look forward to. Sarah is incredibly intuitive and sensitive in her approach - sensing what my body needs session by session and tailoring different forms of massage to suit. It is definitely a holistic therapy - leaving emotions as well as physical body in a calm state post session. I would highly recommend Sarah to anyone looking to enhance their sense of wellbeing." Chantal
"I started having regular massages to help with neck pain and to complement sessions with a chiropractor. Each massage and consultation has been tailored to me, and has left me feeling relaxed and pain-free. Sarah is calm and intuitive, adjusting the massage to suit me, and all in the comfort of my own home." Dawn
"The best massages I've ever had! Completely tailored to me and Sarah has such a gentle, peaceful approach. Would absolutely recommend for both physical and mental wellbeing." Alexa
After a recent running injury I had my first massage with Sarah and she really helped ease the pain and discomfort. She provided a friendly and professional service." John
