About me

I qualified as a homeopath at the South Downs School of Homeopathy and am registered with the Society of Homeopaths. Having run student tutorials for many years and being a qualified supervisor, I began lecturing at the college I trained at and was also responsible for the transition to Higher Education Level 6. Following the sad death of our Principal last year, I am now Co-Principal.

I qualified in 2007 as a natural fertility teacher with Foresight, the preconception charity, and have combined my knowledge of both homeopathy and natural fertility. I have found that women feel empowered by understanding their own fertility.

I am also qualified as a psychotherapeutic counsellor and am a registered member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP). I’m fully insured for all the services I offer.

If you are interested in taining to be homeopath please visit our website: for more information.

Training, qualifications & experience

Homeopathy is a holistic system of medicine, remedies can be based on any substance which is then highly diluted. The remedies can be used alongside conventional medication and any other therapy. Holistic means that the remedies treat the whole person simultaneously on a physical, emotional and mental level.

My initial consultation lasts 90 minutes followed by a series of shorter follow-up consultations lasting 50 minutes. The amount of consultations required will vary considerably depending on the individual.

Low-Cost Clinic

I no longer have the time to run the low-cost homeopathic clinic but offer concessional rates in my practice for those that need it.

We do have a low-cost clinic attached to the South Downs School of Homeopathy, this is a wonderful opportunity to receive low cost treatment and support students in their learning journey. All students are closely supervised by a tremendously experienced homeopath. Should you wish to find out more information about this clinic please email me.

Whilst my counselling training was psychodynamic, my experience as a homeopath also informs my work which means I often use theory and techniques from different schools of counselling and other therapies to form a unique way of working with each client. I recognise that each person is an individual and choose to work in a compassionate way that ensures that the therapy fits the client.

I believe that our past can affect our present, so along with looking at issues in the here and now I also work with experiences from childhood if appropriate. Counselling may be long or short term and we can discuss what may suit you at the initial assessment. Sessions are always 50 minutes long and are at the same time and day each week.  I offer a small number of low-cost, long term counselling places.

If you are ready to make changes to your life and are committed to the therapeutic process and yourself, then this can be a very rewarding journey of endless possibilities.

        Further information

Over the years, people never fail to amaze me; both with what they have endured and what they are capable of achieving. Both Homeopathy and Counselling offer a supportive and nourishing environment to enable the individual to explore themselves on every level - physically, mentally and emotionally. All it takes is the first step...

If you have been diagnosed with or suspect you may have a pre-existing medical condition you should consult your GP for advice, diagnosis and treatment and always inform your health professional before starting any alternative or additional therapies, treatments or making any major changes in your diet or exercise programme.
