Reflexology is a natural, non-invasive holistic complementary therapy. It works to treat the whole person - body, mind, emotion and spirit - and not just the prevailing symptom. Reflexology is based on the principle that there are reflex areas in the feet and hands which correspond to all the organs, glands and parts of the body. By using a unique combination of finger and thumb pressure on these reflexes the body is positively encouraged to work naturally to restore its own healthy balance and heal itself. Stimulating these reflexes can help with many health problems as reflexology's aim is to rebalance the body's systems, promote well-being and encourage vitality, relieve stress and calm emotional distress, by relaxing both the mind and body.

Who is Reflexology suitable for?
It is suitable for people of all ages, from the young to the elderly; is safe during pregnancy and works very well alongside conventional medicine to help relieve pain for people going through chronic illnesses such as Multiple Sclerosis or cancer treatment.
A reflexology treatment is tailored to each individual client and seeks to restore balance, improve circulation and blood supply to the body, encourage relaxation and invigorate the health of the client.
