With our busy modern world and stresses on the NHS, more people are searching for an alternative or something to compliment their healthcare and acupuncture has become a number one choice for many. Acupuncture has been used for thousands of years and now the science behind it has shown that it can be great for a large number of conditions. Each acupuncture treatment is unique and designed to each patients needs, which is why it gets such great results.

I am Eilidh Snape, founder of Points Of Health in York. I am a licensed acupuncturist and member of the British Acupuncture Council and adhere to the highest standard of care and professional conduct, so you can rest assured you are in safe hands.

I grew up in the Orkney Islands in the north of Scotland, but spent much of my childhood in New Zealand where I found acupuncture to be used along side conventional medicine with fantastic results. After breaking my ribs in a bad horse riding accident, I turned to acupuncture and was back playing tennis whithin 3 weeks! This lead to a facintion with the therapy and I felt that it had to be shared to help more people. I then spent 3 years training at the Northern College of Acupuncture in York, where I now live.

"I have recieved treatment for IBS and anxiety for several months. I find Eilidh very competent professionally and also friendly and a great listener. She is easy to talk to and has helped me to relax while I have acupuncture." Gina

I am passionate about giving people the health care that they deserve and use a multi-disaplinary approach to my treatments to ensure my patients get best results using;
