Life-force energy (ki or chi) flows within the physical body through energy centres called chakras and pathways called meridians, as well as flowing around the body in a field of energy called aura. This energy field responds to everything we think, say, feel and experience. When Reiki flows into someone it balances, heals and harmonises all aspects of that person - mind, body, emotions and spirit - promoting a sense of well-being and relaxation.

Massage therapy helps increase circulation of blood and lymph. It has proven to strengthen the immune system. Helps with muscle stiffness and lessens inflammation in joints. Massage therapy is a wonderful way to help reduce anxiety and depression. Many people are starved of regular caring touch. Massage therapy also improves Alzheimer´s and Dementia symptoms. Therapeutic massage has been shown to improve symptoms of both Alzheimer´s and Dementia by reducing agitation and soothing some of the symptoms related to both.

Massage therapy helps to control blood pressure and heart rate.
