Marie Grand is an Ayurveda Consultant and Massage Therapist trained at the Ayurvedic Institute UK and at the European Institute of Vedic Sciences for Ayurvedic pharmacology.
Ayurveda always tries to find the root cause of ailments rather than to treat solely symptoms. In Ayurveda the whole person (physical, emotional and even spiritual) is seen through the function of the doshas (managers of body and mental functions: Vata, Pitta & Kapha). These doshas control our digestion and are often disturbed by internal and external factors. The doshas can be put back in balance with simple diet and lifestyle changes as well as healing body therapies. Herbal remedies are often very helpful to tackle advanced disorders but diet and lifestyle adjustment is always the foundation of an Ayurvedic treatment.
Marie has learned to adapt Ayurveda to our modern life and to our Western culture. She uses a mix of Indian and Western herbal treatments and her diet recommendations are adjusted to your ancestors guts.
Ailments like skin disorders, allergies, auto-immune disorders, general fatigue, infertility, depression, diabetes, hormonal imbalances, etc, can all be dealt with Ayurveda.
She offers consultation, treatment and body therapy in a caring, professional and supportive environment.
